Otherwise than quantum

Abstract The paper focuses on two problems with Alexander Wendt's unification of physical and social ontology the basis quantum theory. Firstly, by endowing phenomena an ontological foundation in reality defined terms Wendt risks reducing a plurality worlds as ‘fields sense’, ordered their immanent rules, to world laws Secondly, defining his science excluding from consideration all that which violates laws, yet may still be said exist or take place: event, potentiality, alterity. Although advantages scientific are indisputable, price we pay for it is sense captivity, whereby everything definitely so, being non-being rigorously distinguished separated nothing between them. This captivity escaped supplementing ethics Levinasian ‘otherwise than being’.
